Etiquette

Before we meet

Think of these as house notes: a few small courtesies that let our time feel savoured rather than scheduled.

Your introduction

Write to me through the booking form, or at meetmilaliu@protonmail.com. Tell me your name, the date and length you have in mind, the city, and a little about who you are. If we’re meeting for the first time, include your screening, or send it in a follow-up.

Screening, kept private

First-time friends choose one of three: references from two companions you’ve seen in the last 12 months; professional verification, meaning government ID with your LinkedIn or company website; or ID with a selfie holding that same ID.

What you send is seen only by me. If you name two companions, they are the only people I contact, and only about you. I ask the same discretion of you.

Holding your date

Your date is reserved once I’ve confirmed and your deposit of $100 per hour has arrived, by Interac e-Transfer, an Uber gift card, or a gift card of my choosing. Deposits aren’t refundable, but with at least 48 hours’ notice they move with you to a new date. For returning friends, cancelling inside 48 hours asks for 50% of the missed session before we plan the next one.

On the day

Be on time, freshly showered, with your phone tucked away. Dates of three hours or more are lovelier with time spent out first: a meal, a drink, an exhibition, a walk by the water. Overnights include six hours of real sleep, so I stay at my best for you. Please have the consideration ready in an envelope or gift bag at the start; there’s no need to mention it.

Incall, outcall and further afield

I share my incall address once our date is confirmed. Outcalls are to hotels or private residences. For fly-me-to-you dates, you arrange round-trip travel and accommodation before I confirm, and these begin at 24 hours. My cities are listed on the home page.

Ideas for our time

I’m happiest when an evening is allowed to unfold: an afternoon among paintings, then a dinner that takes its time, whether omakase, Mediterranean or something French. Champagne, or a dirty martini. A forest trail, or a film we’ll still be discussing over breakfast. If you have a favourite place, take me there.

Small gestures

Nothing is expected. Should you wish to bring something, peonies or a Holt Renfrew gift card always make me smile.

References

If we’ve spent time together and you’d like a reference for another companion, I’m glad to give one, free of charge, within a year of our date. Let me know her name in advance so I recognise her message.

I share only what helps her feel safe: that you were respectful, on time and kind. I never confirm we’ve met without your permission. Further references can be arranged, with a small thank-you for each.

That’s all there is to it. I look forward to your note ♡
